About The Author
Clare Elisabeth Awada
Clare Awada is a survivor, storyteller, and advocate for truth and healing.
Through her writing, Clare courageously shares her personal journey of surviving childhood grooming and abuse, breaking the silence that so many survivors are forced to carry alone. Her memoir reflects not only the trauma she endured but also the resilience, self-reflection, and strength it took to reclaim her voice.
Clare believes that telling difficult truths is one of the most powerful ways to create awareness and help others feel less alone in their experiences. By sharing her story—including journal entries written during her teenage years—she hopes to shed light on how grooming happens, how easily it can remain hidden, and why survivors often struggle to speak about it.
Today, Clare is passionate about helping others understand the realities of trauma, healing, and survival. Her goal is not only to tell her own story but also to create space for others to recognize their own strength and begin their own paths toward healing.
